Metal-Expo’2019 Program is Under Way
Members of Metal-Expo’2019 Organizing Committee among them heads of industrial associations and unions, scientific and higher education institutions as well as design bureaus met in Moscow on September 10 at VDNHa Fairground to discuss Metal-Expo’2019 program.
According to A. Romanov, RUMSS President, General Manager of Metal Supply and Sales and Co-Chairman of Metal-Expo Organizing Committee, 560 companies from 32 world countries will exhibit in Metal-Expo this year. International companies at Metal-Expo'2019 account for almost 50% of the total number of exhibitors. The biggest expositions are coming from China, Germany and Italy.
Some 30k steel industry professionals are expected to visit the event. Metal-Expo website is getting more popular before the exhibition having enjoyed more than 500 daily visits in August and enjoying more than 700 daily visits in the beginning of September. 10k daily visits are expected by the beginning of the event.
The program of the exhibition includes some 50 events among them conferences, roundtables, master classes, seminars and presentations on all the most pressing problems of the steel industry, metalworking, metal construction etc.
Russian Metal and Steel Market International Conference will traditionally be held 1 day before Metal-Expo to cover the latest industry and market trends.
Metal-Expo’2019 program includes traditional as well as new events among them: Corrugated Beams: Market Structures and Trends organized by TSNIIPSK, Criminal and Legal Risks in the Steel Industry, organized by Marguerite group with professional lawyers among the speakers, conference on additive and digital solutions organized by TITAN Association and TSNIITMASH, a roundtable on steel structures use in medicine, a workshop on new types of steel structures for the automotive industry organized by TSNIICHERMET, a conference on reservoir building and many more.
The members of Metal-Expo’2019 Organizing Committee took a VDNHa tour after the meeting to see its newly renovated facilities.
