Metal-Expo Organizing Committee Sums up Metal-Expo’2021 Results

At its meeting on December 24 Metal-Expo Organizing Committee summed up Metal-Expo’2021 results and made plans for 2022. 

The 27th International Exhibition was for the first time in its history held at Expocentre Fairgrounds, Moscow. 470 steel companies from 26 world countries exhibited in the event arranged on 28k sqm exhibition space. Some 3k professionals attended to their stands during the 3 event days. More than 17k steel industry professionals visited Metal-Expo’2021. More than 40 events among them conferences, roundtables, seminars etc. were held in parallel to the exhibition. More 2k industry professionals attended the events.  

Many members of the Organizing Committee noted that Expocentre Fairgrounds was a convenient platform due to its transport accessibility. The exhibitors of Metal-Expo’2021 commented on the high level of the event’s organization. 

The exhibition has a potential to host many more exhibitors due to engaging one more hall provided the COVID-19 restrictions are lifted in 2022.

The members of the Organizing Committee also made plans for 2022. Programs of a complex of industrial exhibitions SteelStructures’2022, and Metallurgy.Litmash’2002 (June 2022) will be discussed at another meeting of the Organizing Committee in April.
