MMK Develops Cooperation with Russia’s Giants of the Automotive Industry

At the international industrial exhibition Metal-Expo 2021, PJSC "Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works – MMK" signed a strategic partnership agreement with two important players of the Russian automotive industry: Kamaz-Vectra Motors Ltd and Ural Automobile Plant.

The agreement implies effective cooperation in the supply of rolled steel and metal products, optimization of logistics, warehouse resources and services.  The agreement was signed by the top officials of the companies at Metal-Expo 2021. Within the framework of this agreement, a service and logistics #metal centre equipped with the best technologies will open at the Industrial Park site in Magnitogorsk, on the basis of the M-Steel Group of companies in 2022. This decision will allow reducing costs when supplying MMK's steel products to KAMAZ and URAL Automobile Plant; the volume of deliveries will grow, as will the share of shipments by road.

MMK consistently supplies high-quality steel products for the Russian automotive industry (including both Russian companies and local branches of international corporations), constantly developing production and adapting it to the needs of specific customers.
