Metal-Expo’2018 Preliminary Exhibitor List is Made Available

Metal-Expo’2018 exhibitor list (subject to change) is now made available on the events’ official website. Metal-Expo’2018, the 4th International Exhibition will be held on November 13-16, hall 75, VDNHa, Moscow, Russia. More than 500 from 34 world countries will exhibit at the event when more than 30k steel industry professionals are expected to visit the show.

A wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous producers, equipment manufacturers and suppliers, freight forwarding companies, materials suppliers, steel traders etc. will exhibit their product lines and solutions.

Metal-Expo’2018 program of events includes more than 50 conferences, seminars and roundtable on the most pressing problems of the steel and steel-related industries.

VTZ introduces new technology to improve stainless steel production efficiency

Volzhsky Pipe Plant, a branch of Pipe Metallurgical Company, has introduced a new technology to improve the efficiency of stainless steel production. The innovation helps to recover greater quantities of high-value alloying elements from scrap metal and to utilise raw materials more efficiently. Thanks to the new technology, it has become possible to more effectively recover residual chromium, nickel and molybdenum from high-alloy scrap. The number of "flushing" heats required to clean the furnace and steel casting ladles has also been reduced. The new scheme reduces ferroalloy consumption and improves the profitability of stainless steel rolled products output, as noted by TMK.
