Domestic Rolled Products Output to Grow 0.9% in 2018

According to the forecast of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation domestic steel rolled products output will reach 61.5Mt in 2018 (+0.9% compared to 2017).

Rolled products export is expected to reach 28Mt (+0.3% compared to 2017), import: 5.5Mt (+1.4%). Rolled stock domestic consumption will reach 39Mt in 2018 (+1.4% compared to 2017).

Reportedly, steel tubes output will reach 11.1Mt in 2018 (97% on last year’s output), export: 2Mt (93.4% on 2017 output), import: 0.52Mt (72.3%). Steel tubes domestic consumption will reach 9.6Mt (96% on last year’s domestic consumption).

Russian steel industry interim results will be summed up at Metal-Expo’2018 events.

Complex of international specialised exhibitions on steel structures and foundry technologies opens in Moscow

The complex of International Specialised Exhibitions Steel Structures'2026, Metallurgy/Litmash.Russia'2026, and the new exhibition project Steel Service Centres'2026 has opened at the modern Timiryazev Centre exhibition complex in Moscow.
