Metal-Expo'2019 Not Far Off

According to A. Romanov, Co-Chairman of Metal-Expo Organizing Committee, in December 2018 the Committee reviewed Metal-Expo’2018 results, discussed in details its program, and shaped a plan of the forthcoming Metal-Expo’2019, the 25th Jubilee International Industrial Exhibition.

“Many Metal-Expo regular exhibitors, especially those who have attended the event since it was launched in 1995 have already booked their spaces at Metal-Expo’2019. We plan to publish a special album on the history of Metal-Expo, its exhibitors and highlights”, said Mr. Romanov.

The 25th Jubilee Exhibition will grow 4.5k sqm due to a more efficient exposition arranging in hall 75 and a newly built exhibition hall next to it. However, in two years another 30k sqm exhibition hall will be built next to hall 75. The program of Metal-Expo’2019 includes the traditional events, some new ones let alone having some surprises in store.

The innovation helps to recover greater quantities of high-value alloying elements from scrap metal and to utilise raw materials more efficiently. Thanks to the new technology, it has become possible to more effectively recover residual chromium, nickel and molybdenum from high-alloy scrap. The number of "flushing" heats required to clean the furnace and steel casting ladles has also been reduced. The new scheme reduces ferroalloy consumption and improves the profitability of stainless steel rolled products output, as noted by TMK.
