The pre-list of exhibitors of Metal-Expo'2024 has been published

Please be advised that the preliminary list of exhibitors has now been posted on the Metal-Expo.ru website. Please note that the list will be updated and supplemented until the end of October.

The 30th International Industrial Exhibition, Metal-Expo'2024, will take place from 29 October to 1 November at Expocentre (Moscow). The event will bring together professionals from across the metallurgical sector, including metallurgists, metal traders and processors, equipment manufacturers, and suppliers of industrial technologies.

All of the leading Russian metallurgical companies have confirmed their participation in the jubilee forum. Additionally, companies from China, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and other countries will be present with their own expositions. We are pleased to announce that the number of exhibitors will exceed 800 companies, with 300 of them being foreign. This will be a record-breaking edition of the metallurgists' forum for an extended period.

We anticipate that over 30,000 visitors from key metal-consuming industries will attend. During business communication and events (the business programme includes over 50 conferences, seminars and round tables on all segments of the metallurgical business), the leading players will discuss the current state of the metals market, improve their competitiveness and develop strategies for future growth.

Once you have familiarised yourself with the exhibitors, you can plan your routes, work schedules and schedule meetings at the stands of partners, including buyers and suppliers.

VTZ introduces new technology to improve stainless steel production efficiency

Volzhsky Pipe Plant, a branch of Pipe Metallurgical Company, has introduced a new technology to improve the efficiency of stainless steel production. The innovation helps to recover greater quantities of high-value alloying elements from scrap metal and to utilise raw materials more efficiently. Thanks to the new technology, it has become possible to more effectively recover residual chromium, nickel and molybdenum from high-alloy scrap. The number of "flushing" heats required to clean the furnace and steel casting ladles has also been reduced. The new scheme reduces ferroalloy consumption and improves the profitability of stainless steel rolled products output, as noted by TMK.
