At Metal-Expo'24, metallurgists and machine builders presented their respective areas of expertise and potential opportunities for collaboration.

More than 30 thousand visitors - managers and specialists of companies from all sectors of economy, construction, fuel and energy complexes - visited the exhibition and held fruitful negotiations with the participants of the Forum during the 4 days of the exhibition.
This year 875 companies were represented at Metal-Expo, including 467 from Russia, 368 from China and 38 from other fourteen countries. More than 5 thousand managers and specialists worked at their stands.
The final day of the exhibition saw a number of notable and informative events take place. Over 150 students from various Moscow universities participated in the event, entitled "The Future is Being Laid Today." The most outstanding participants were awarded the title of Young Scientist.
Meanwhile, in another conference hall, representatives from leading metallurgical and metal trading companies met to discuss marketing strategies. They heard reports from Viktor Tarnavsky (Metal Supply and Sales) and Alexey Ermakov (A Group) and discussed the question of how companies can guarantee their survival in the current climate of price hikes and unpredictable and unstable demand. Subsequently, the winners of the 'Best Internet Project 2024' contest among metallurgical and metal trading companies in Russia and CIS countries were presented with their awards.
In the afternoon, the next annual intellectual game in the format of the show-quiz, 'Metalland', took place. The quiz included questions on general knowledge about metals and their role in human life. The game was conducted by Igor Zhiganov, Doctor of Technical Sciences and Head of the Samara-based company Metal-Market.
At the conclusion of the final day of the exhibition, over 100 companies were presented with special awards for the best exhibition stand.
The next 31st International Industrial Exhibition, Metal-Expo, will take place from 11-14 November 2025 in St. Petersburg.
