3,200 industry professionals attended the metal construction and foundry exhibitions on opening day

On June 3, the opening day of the exhibition complex including SteelStructures’2025, Metallurgy’2025, Litmash’2025, Tubes’2025, and Wire’2025, a total of 3,200 visitors were registered.

Despite the new venue of the exhibition consortium (Timiryazev Center), the attendance on the first day remained high from the very beginning. This year, the exhibitions feature 450 companies from 7 countries: Russia, China, India, Turkey, Iran, Italy, and Belarus.

The first day was packed with business events. Conferences were held on High-Quality Fasteners — Reliability of Machinery and Metal Structures and Modern Equipment and Technologies for Corrosion Protection of Metal Structures. Round tables were conducted on the following topics: Development Using Carbon Steel Structures, Modern Corrosion Protection Technologies Using Zinc Powder, and Development Using Light Steel Thin-Walled Structures (LSTS).

Tomorrow, on the second day, trends in the markets of steel structures, bridge construction, welding, and forging & pressing production will be discussed. A meeting of manufacturers of galvanized and pre-painted steel products (corrugated sheets, metal roofing tiles, LSTS, sandwich panels, etc.) will take place. The general partner of the exhibition, EVRAZ STEEL BUILDING, will host a panel discussion titled How to Reduce the Cost of Structural Production. The results of the Power of Metal competition will be announced, identifying the best solutions for the use of steel and aluminum in construction.

Partners of these events include the Ministry of Construction of Russia, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, as well as leading industry research institutes and associations such as the Steel Construction Development Association, the Russian Union of Metal Product Suppliers, TsNIISK named after V.A. Kucherenko, TsNIIPSK named after Melnikov, the Zinc Development Center, and the Prommetiz Association.

Over the course of the three-day event, more than 8,000 to 9,000 professionals from the construction sector, foundry industry, metallurgy, and related industrial fields are expected to attend.
