MMK-Project Solutions enters the steel structures market

MMK-Project Solutions LLC, a subsidiary of MMK Trading House, has entered the steel structures market. The company's production base is a new mechanical engineering workshop launched in 2025. The facility is equipped with unique machinery capable of performing large-scale and trial assembly of heavy structures — a capability available to only a limited number of market players. The company operates as an aggregator and operator of large-scale projects, placing orders both at MMK's own facilities and through a partner network of steel structure plants.

The company operates as an aggregator and operator of large-scale projects, placing orders both at MMK's own facilities and through a partner network of steel structure plants.

Production capacity is fully loaded: a significant share is allocated to the group's internal needs — the construction of new MMK workshops. The company is simultaneously developing its presence in the external market, despite intensified competition from major industry players.
"Our key advantage is the reliability and competence of our team: from design through to finished product," stated Marina Rashnikova, Deputy Head of the company, in an interview with Dmitry Lyakhovsky, Editor-in-Chief of Metal Supply & Sales magazine, at the SteelStructures'2026 exhibition.

Logistics are supported by MMK Trading House's warehouse network across Russia. The availability of rolled steel products at regional warehouses enables prompt delivery to partner plants in the required assortment and volumes, reducing the risk of schedule delays and allowing flexible supply management.

In terms of processing, the company is replicating a model already proven in the pipe segment: customer-supplied steel is transferred to partners for the manufacture of steel structures. The tolling scheme with pipe manufacturers has already delivered results — an equivalent channel is now being established with steel structure plants.

MMK participated in the International Specialised Exhibition SteelStructures'2026 from 26 to 28 May. This autumn, the company will present its products and projects at the 32nd International Industrial Exhibition Metal-Expo'2026, to be held on 10–13 November at the ExpoForum Convention & Exhibition Centre in St. Petersburg.
