Each year, Metal-Expo features an extensive conference programme covering a wide range of topics related to the metallurgical and steel distribution industries, as well as technologies and equipment for metallurgical engineering. This year, the exhibition organising committee, together with representatives of the metals industry, will hold more than 40 specialised conferences, round tables and presentations, including presentations of new metallurgical investment projects.

"This year, the exhibition will showcase the latest investment projects in Russia's metallurgical industry, including an electric steelmaking complex for the production of steel billets, a cold rolling mill for stainless flat products, an iron ore pellet production facility, a melting and casting complex, a seamless aluminium tube extrusion plant, a continuous hot-dip galvanising line, several rolling and electric welded pipe production facilities, a plant for processing zinc-containing materials, as well as a number of other new projects," said Alexey Efimov, General Director of Metal-Expo.

The exhibition's conference programme is currently being finalised. In September, it will be reviewed and approved by the Metal-Expo Organising Committee, which includes senior representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, as well as leading metallurgical and mechanical engineering associations and unions.
